eFed Management Suite v2.8.1 Now Available
The next update for the eFed Management Suite is now available. Version 2.8.1 continues the work introduced in the 2.8 release series, bringing a new default template, expanded default ranking score population for match types, new user management search functionality, an added .htaccess editor, and a collection of fixes and interface improvements throughout the system.
Existing eMS users can update directly through the Update Center inside their dashboard. Once logged in, visit the Update Center and follow the available update prompt to bring your installation up to version 2.8.1.
This release focuses heavily on polish, quality-of-life improvements, and cleanup across several key management areas. From booking and rankings to contracts, store pages, private messages, and template management, version 2.8.1 helps make the eMS admin and user experience smoother across the board.

The new default template gives fresh installations a stronger starting point, while the match type ranking score defaults help streamline setup for feds using the Power Rankings system. The User Manager search addition makes administration easier, especially for larger rosters and communities, and the new .htaccess editor provides another useful tool for managing site behavior directly from the dashboard.
Version 2.8.1 also resolves an issue with event selection when submitting promos and includes a wide range of minor UI fixes across the system. These improvements touch several commonly used areas, including contracts, store functionality, character inventory, booking, private messages, fed info, rankings, match submission, reserved segments, card management, template management, and folder permissions.
