Rest In Peace, Mike Sanzone

Today, the fantasy wrestling and eFed community lost one of its longtime voices as we learned of the passing of Mike Sanzone.

For many of us who spent years building shows, writing promos, running angles, organizing inter-feds, and helping keep this strange little corner of the internet alive, Mike was a familiar name. Whether through handling, booking, writing, or simply being part of the community discussions that shaped so many eras of fantasy wrestling, his presence was felt by a lot of people over the years.

I personally had the opportunity to work with Mike several times throughout the years, most notably during the time I ran an interfed. Like many in this hobby, we crossed paths through the shared passion of storytelling, competition, creativity, and the unique friendships that only this community seems capable of creating.

Fantasy wrestling has always been bigger than wins and losses. It has always been about the people behind the screens — the late-night conversations, the collaborative ideas, the rivalries, the laughter, and the memories built over years of shared creativity. Mike was part of that history for many people.

No matter where people knew him from, his name remained part of the fabric of the community for a very long time, and that alone speaks volumes.

On behalf of everyone here, we extend our thoughts, condolences, and prayers to Mike’s family, friends, and everyone in the fantasy wrestling world who knew him.

Thank you for the memories and for the years you gave to this community.

Rest in peace, Mike.
